Mrs. Tara DeMarr - Studio Owner and Director

        Tara started dance at the age of 2. She was trained by a former N.Y.  Rockette and her daughter a former Washington Redskin Cheerleader Captain. Tara was in the competition line and show troupe line with 16 years perfect attendance. She began student teaching at the age of 8 and was promoted to a full teacher at the young age of 15. Tara has over 33 years of experience in professional dance training, technique and dance education. Tara has been trained in Tap, Pointe, Lyrical, Modern, Ballet, Poms, Kickline, Jazz, Hip-hop and Contemporary.  Tara has trained regional and national level competition winners throughout her dancing career as well as won numerous choreography awards and special judges awards for her creative and artistic dance routines. Tara keeps up on her dance training by attending local and out of state work-shops and master classes taught by Mia Michaels, Alex Wong, Twitch , Melanie Moore, Travis Walls and many more world renown dancers and choreographers.  Tara is the recipient of the Choreographer of the year award.  Tara encourages her students to excel in all aspects of life including their dance education.

 Shelby Cooper  

Shelby started dancing at the age of 2.  She started competitive dancing at the age of 9 years old.  Shelby is trained in Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet and Hip-Hop.  Shelby has won numerous scholarships for master classes in LA, NY and local areas.  Shelby has a passion for dance and  puts her artistic flare on all her choreography.  Shelby has been trained by numerous world wide dancers and teachers including Travis Wall, Mia Michaels, Alex Wong and many more.  Shelby is looking forward to teaching all of our wonderful dancers and passing on her knowledge to your children.

Courtney Machoski

Courtney began her dance journey at the age of 2. For 10 years she was apart of a show troupe line that traveled to perform. At the age of 12 she began to compete nationally for the next 6 years. While attending college she also took several dance classes to continue her training. She is trained in jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, and hip-hop. She has received scholarships for her achievements in dance from numerous workshops that she attended throughout the years. She believes that dance is the most unique form of art and hopes that she can carry on her passion for dance with her students.

 Patrice Lee 

  Patrice has trained dancers of all ages and levels at various studios, with hopes to continue traveling and sharing her knowledge, and love for dance. Patrice continues her training by attending multiple conventions annually learning from the best teachers in the industry. She is also a current student in the highly competitive dance program at the College of Southern Maryland. Patrice began her dance training at the age of 6 years old, and by the age of 12, she began dancing competitively with extensive training in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, modern and hip- hop. Additionally, her choreography has won awards throughout many regional competitions because of her unique style and attention to detail. Above all, Patrice believes that dance should be fun, and accessible to all. 

Jewel Smith 

Jewel started dancing at the young age of 18 months.  Jewel has trained and continues to study all genres of dance including Contemporary, Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Broadway, Tap, Musical Theatre, Hip -Hop, and lyrical.  Jewel is a competitive dancer on the Elite line on the studios Dream Team.  Jewel has won National Titles, Regional Titles, Special Awards, Cash, Prizes and much more.   Jewel has a passion for dance and loves to pass it on to her little dancers in the classroom.  Jewel has an eye for choreography and technique.  Jewel is attending a private high school with a dance program so she can continue to train for a career in the professional dance world.   Jewel has been taught by numerous teachers and choreographers.
